ABOUT US
Risa's Corner is an organization formed in memory of Risa Bush Halpren, an Elementary School teacher in the Baltimore area. We supply teacher recipients in Baltimore with desired classroom items in order to create a more enriching learning environment.
Teachers in the Baltimore area may be nominated by their peers. Nominees who show the same passion and dedication for teaching may be selected as recipients. Chosen recipients then create a wishlist of items to enrich and enhance their classrooms. Donors then select and purchase items directly from the recipients' wishlist. We deliver all items (plus some additional goodies) to our wonderful educators.

Please note, currently our recipients get chosen for a drive each fall. However, we are hoping to expand our window.
Students continue to benefit from the generosity of donors who purchase items off of teachers' wish list.
